Premier League Betting – Manchester City vs. Swansea City

As part of the 12th set of fixtures in the Barclays Premier League, third-place Manchester City will host fifth-place Swansea City at Etihad Stadium. The kick-off will be on Saturday, November 22, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern.
Despite Swansea’s encouraging start to the season, Man City is the heavy favorite to win, listed at -250 in the moneyline. A Swansea victory will pay +800, and the draw +245.
The Man City dominates the head-to-head history with 16 wins in 26 matches. The last time Man City lost against Swansea was back in March 2012 (1-0). The Sky Blues will come to the game having won four of their last six BPL matches, while Swansea has only emerged victorious in two of its last six.
Though they are third in the table with 21 points (6W, 3D, 2L), City is already eight points back of league leaders Chelsea. A win for Swansea on Saturday would see them draw level with Man City, as they are currently on 18 points (5W, 3D, 3L). It would also put them, at least temporarily, in the top four, meaning they would be in a position to qualify for next year’s Champions League. If you had told the Swans supporters that, 11 games into the season, all they would need is a win to sit in the top three, they would have taken that in a heartbeat.
However, if Swansea lose on Saturday, they could fall all the way to eighth in the table, and may not see the rarefied air of the top five for some time.
